Summer Reading Program Grades 4-8

Reading is everywhere, and this summer we want our students to be super readers … because reading rocks! Not everyone can get to the public library or book store when they’re on summer holidays.  So we found a way to keep kids in grade 4-8 reading all summer with our Summer Reading Rocks program! If you want to read all summer long, this is all you need to do:
1. Bring the attached form home and have it signed!
2. Return the signed form to your school library.
3. Pick out up to 10 library books you’d like to borrow and then take them home over the summer break!
Don’t forget, you have to make sure that you have already brought back any library books you borrowed during the school year before you can check out items for summer break.  So check in your locker, under your bed, and in your school bag, and make sure everything has been returned! One more thing!  Have you tried an Audio or E‐Book yet?  Did you know that as long as you have your school library barcode number, you can borrow and download tons more titles at http://hdsb.lib.overdrive.com.
